A day after Parth Santhana tests positive for coronavirus, we speak to his costar Aamna Sharif, who awaits the result of her COVID-19 test.

This journalist has spoken to Aamna a while back and mind you it has been not an easy time for anyone on the sets of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 (produced by Balaji Telefilms)  after Parth Samthaan (who plays Anurag Basu) tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday and the shoot came to a halt. It is largely due to Ekta Kapoor’s motivation and her umbrella-care for her cast and crew that is still keeping their spirits alive.  

Yesterday,  Karan Patel (who plays the new Mr Bajaj, who replaced Karan Singh Grover recently)  had headed to get his COVID-19 test done as a precautionary measure. Karan had spoken to me about it. And now, Aamna (who replaced Hina Khan as Komolika) has gone ahead and got her entire family tested. 

Confirming this,  Aamna says,  “I have got my entire family tested and we are awaiting the results.”

Aamna adds, “The anxiety as on date cannot be denied amongst all the actors and at the same time I am praying that Parth bounces back to the best of health, soon.”

Let us pray that Aamna and her family test negative. Ditto for Karan.
