Sushant Singh Rajput is no more. The actor hung himself in his flat on June 14 around noon. We spoke to his friend-filmmaker Sandip Ssingh a couple of days back and he got extremely emotional while talking about Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lpkhande.

Sandip revealed that Ankita had a very calming influence on Sushant. The conversation drifted to Ankita visiting Sushant’s father after he passed away. Sandip had accompanied her and he spoke about the meeting in question, saying, “Ankita and Sushant’s sister hugged tightly and….: he trails off, to indicate Ankita broke down.

We understand that Ankita cared and respected Sushant a lot, despite they having broken up. The two were together for more than 6 years and it is not easy to let go off the sweet memories in one go. Ankita and Sushant may have given off-hand answers in their interviews when asked about their break-up but I guess that was not the feeling within them.

Apparently, Sandip must be in touch with Ankita frequently since then.

Meanwhile, Sushant’s last film Dil Bechara is up for release on Disney Plus Hotstar. The film has been directed by Mukesh Chhabra and produced by Fox Star Studios. Chhabra is busy with post-production. The trailer will be launched soon.
