Karan Patel talks about getting into Mr Bajaj’s shoes in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Read this exclusive.

 

Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 starts shooting any moment now,  after the CINTAA,  FWICE and AMTPP resolved their differences after a marathon meeting.  And Ekta’s new Mr Bajaj- Karan Patel (the news broke out on SpotboyE.com)- is also ready. And,  he’s talking about it as well now,  albeit briefly. 

Karan says,  “Yes, I will be playing Mr.Bajaj. It’s even more special because I get to reconnect with my fans who’ve loved me through YHM and given their unconditional support.”

Replacing Karan Singh Grover was not an easy task for Ekta Kapoor. The role needs a lot of style and poise.  A lot of names were in the running including those of Karan Kundra,  Hiten Tejwani,  Gaurav Chopra,  Sharad Kelkar. The broadcasters (Star Plus) had even debated bringing in Milind Soman and Dino Morea but seems, no offers went out eventually in those directions. 

Ekta had Karan Patel playing the lead in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Apparently,  the TV Czarina who knows the audience pulse felt that Patel would do the best justice to Mr Bajaj’s character. 

Ronit Roy played Mr Bajaj in the first part of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, produced by Balaji Telefilms..
