Disha Salian committed suicide on Monday night, and was finally cremated earlier today.



Varun Sharma’s manager Disha Salian ended her life by  jumping off from her flat on 14th floor in Malad earlier this week. What came over her suddenly while having dinner with her boyfriend and a few common friends is however still not known.

Disha’s body lay in Shatabdi Hospital in Kandivali for more than two days as doctors out there were busy with COVID-19 patients. The body was handed over to Disha’s parents this evening. The cremation happened right after. 

Disha worked for Bunty Sajdeh’s Cornerstone and largely managed Varun ‘Chucha’ Sharma’s work.Prior to Varun, Disha managed Sushant Singh Rajput’s work and for a brief period, Bharti Singh’s.

When contacted, Jagdev Kalapad, Senior PI, Malwani Police Station, said that Disha may have jumped due to the financial stress that the on-going lockdown has brought. “Financial stress aur lockdown ki vajah se hua hoga. That’s what her mother told us.”
