Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s niece who accused his brother Minazuddin of sexual harassment, further alleges that another uncle of hers, Ayazuddin, once slapped Nawaz’s wife Aaliya. Wife endorses. Read this exclusive story.
Saturday evening, I brought you the report that Jamai police has started the investgation in the Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s niece’s complaint against her chacha Minazuddin, who she alleges tried to force himself upon her and insisted that she has a physical relationship with him. The niece in question has also accused Minazuddin of touching her inappropriately, when she was a minor- once when she was 9 and then when she was 13.
Pavitran from Jamia Police Station had told this journalist, “We have received the complaint and begun the inquiry. Minazuddin’s statement has not been recorded yet as he is not in Delhi currently. But he shall be called for the same.”
In the same report, I had also told you what the niece had told her about the alleged trauma she faced while she grew up in the Khan household. The girl even said that she had informed Nawaz about the harassment that Minazuddin was meting out to her, but the actor called her a liar.

Now, during the same conversation that I had with the niece, she’d further alleged that “another brother of Nawaz, Ayazuddin, had slapped Nawaz’s wife Aaliya and she was witness to that”.
When contacted, Aaliya said that an ugly incident had happened wherein Ayazuddin did slap her. “Yes, that’s right. And it happened simply because I was taking a stand and voicing my opinion on something that I felt was happening not correct.”
For those who’ve come in late, Ayazuddin was booked for allegedly posting a derogatory picture of Lord Shiva on Facebook. An FIR was registered against him at Budhana Police station in June 2018 after an activist of Hindu Yuva Vahini, Bharat Kumar, had lodged a complaint. Ayazuddin had been accused of posting an objectionable picture of Lord Shiva and Bharat demanded his arrest. Ayazuddin was booked under 153A of the IPC (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race, place of birth) but then released.
“Frankly, it looks like Ayazuddin had no intention of hurting anyone. He has not written anything offensive. All he did was to write something rejecting the offensive picture and post which was shared on the social networking website,” Hariram Yadav Deputy Superintendent of Police in Muzaffarnagar had then told a section of the media.
“He wrote something to the effect that condemned the offensive post but while writing it he also copy pasted the offensive picture which is the reason behind the HYV’s anger and complaint. It was after the HYV’s complaint that police registered an FIR against him under section 153A,” the cop added.
Back to the current story, while Nawaz chose to not respond to this report, his brother Shamas replied, “No comments in this matter.”
