Renowned astrologer Bejan Daruwalla is no more.

World-famous astrologer Bejan Daruwalla has left the world of living. He was 89. Reportedly, he passed away in an Ahmedabad hospital, a couple of hours back. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has tweeted sometime back:  “Saddened by the demise of renowned Astrologer Shri Bejan Daruwalla. I pray for the departed soul. My condolences. Om Shanti…”

Bejan Daruwalla was an extremely charming personality. You could talk to him for hours. It is hard to believe that he is no more.

I had the opportunity of meeting him twice, once at his residence in Colaba before he shifted to Ahmedabad and then I met him about two years ago, when he had come to Mumbai for a short visit. 

He was outspoken. He was fearless. I am not a follower of astrology but I still read his predictions very religiously from the age of 16. He was simply magnetic.

May his soul rest in peace. I stand by him and his family in their hour of sorrow. The world has lost someone very important.
